Scott Weidensaul will be the Sept. 29 speaker at the Migration Fest at Lehigh Gap Nature Center.

He will talk about "Living on the Wind, The Migration of Birds" at 7:30 p.m.

Weidensaul has written two dozen books on natural history including, "Living on the Wind, Across the Hemisphere with Migratory Birds," a Pulitzer Prize finalist.

This program re-quires registration and there is a fee.

On Sept. 30, at 3 p.m., Rex Lord will speak about "Following Vampire Bats and Capybaras.

Lord is retired from 40 years of service with the Public Health Service and Pan American Health Organization.

His time was spent as a zoologist in 19 South American countries. There is no registration required for this program.
