A Sept. 20 article in The Press (page 1, "Bids awarded") reported incorrectly that bids on the Hokendauqa-North Catasauqua Bridge have been awarded. In fact, the bids were opened by Lehigh County, but are not expected to be awarded until sometime in October. Currently, engineering and administration officials are reviewing the specifications of bids that were submitted.

The Press regrets the error.
