Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey ambassadors, the clown couple of Dave and Cherie, recently paid a visit to the St. Luke's University Hospital Network Bethlehem Campus' pediatric floor spreading fun and laughter among staff and patients.
Popping in and out of about a half dozen patients' rooms, the bumbling Dave and innocent appearing Cherie juggled, performed card tricks and slight of hand routines, and all the while helped the youngsters forget they were recuperating in a hospital setting by making them smile and laugh.
Nurses and doctors even got into the spirit of the visit plopping bright red clown bulbs on their noses and posing for photographs with the comedy duo.
Dave and Cherie are clown ambassadors who entertain as a duo.
Dave and Cherie are clown ambassadors who make three to five visits each day to brighten people's lives and promote upcoming visits by the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth. This year's "Barnum Bash" will appear at the Stabler Arena Oct. 25 to 28, bringing an all new show to town, according to Dave and Cherie. Tickets are available at the Stabler box office or by calling 866-734-6204.
