Northampton Police Chief Ron Morey congratulates Michael Bachman, 26, of Wind Gap, following borough council's appointment of Bachman as a full-time borough police officer. Bachman completed his police academy training and schooling and will next undergo physical and psychological testing. After the required evaluations, he will be placed on the roster and begin his duties as a Northampton police officer. Bachman previously worked as a part-time police officer in Plainfield and Bushkill townships.
