Margaret D. Gaul, 87, of Macun-gie, formerly of Hellertown, died September 15, 2012. She was the wife of the late William F. Gaul Sr., who died in 2004. Born in Lower Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Secho) Kozul.

She was a seamstress for various factories in the Lehigh Valley and a member of the Garment Workers Union.

She attended St.Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown, and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She served as a Democratic Committee woman in Bethlehem for many years.

She is survived by a son, William Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Houston, Texas; daughter, Diane and her husband Thomas Brinker of South Whitehall Township brother Peter Kozul and his wife Betty of Steel City; granddaughters, Erica and her husband Christopher Santo and Kacie.

Contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Creamatory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
