Carole A. Andrews, 62, of Breinigsville, died Sept. 8, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She and her husband, Larry L. Andrews, were married 34 years.

Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Arlene (Croll) Hawk.

She was a retired LPN, having worked at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital and Maulfair Medical Center.

She was a member of Solomons United Church of Christ, Veterans of Vietnam War Post 75 and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, all of Macungie.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and the raising, training and showing of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by stepdaughter, Kelly, wife of Ralph Petite, of Burgaw, N.C.; grandchildren Antonia and Joseph; siblings Ronald and Brenda Hawk; and stepsister, Hazel Strunk.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 15 in Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Calling hour begins at 10 a.m.
