The Allentown CROP Hunger Walk, sponsored by the Lehigh County Conference of Churches, is scheduled for Oct. 14 at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, at the corner of Ott and Walnut sts., Allentown.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. with a brief opening ceremony at 1:30 p.m.

There will be two routes: the 6-mile walk through Allentown with three rest stops along the way, and the Golden Mile walk for Golden Agers, families with children or dogs, or anyone wanting a leisurely pace.

Registration forms and pledge packages are available at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Cedar Crest Boulevard and Tilghman Street or at the offices of the Conference of Churches, 534 Chew St., Allentown.
