St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Seemsville, will hold a bingo for Vera Bradley purses and accessories on Saturday, Sept. 29, 1 p.m., at the church, 8142 Valley View Road.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville, will hold a Pork-N-Pie event on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Apple pie and pork dinners will be available to enjoy there or to take home. Dinners must be ordered by Oct. 5.

The meal includes pulled pork, roll, baked potato, choice of pickled cabbage or applesauce and a dessert; eat-in orders will include a drink.
