Curtis W. Richter, 42, of Allentown, died unexpectedly Sept. 5, 2012. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Joseph R. and Diane M. (Narolesky) Richter, of Bethlehem.

He was a 1988 graduate of Salisbury High School.

He was in the Marine Corps Reserve.

He was an artist, tattooist, animal lover and the owner and operator of Art N Soul Studios, Allentown. Prior to owning the studio, he was a crisis counselor for KidsPeace.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Vivian Curzi; an aunt, Felecia and her husband Thomas Fliszar; and an uncle, Brian Duda.
