Charles Paul Stubbe Jr., 60, of Allentown, died Sept. 5, 2012, after a valiant battle with cancer for the past 13 years. He was the husband of Dr. Deborah Ann Stubbe; they were married for 33 years June 23. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles Paul Stubbe Sr. and Marjorie Mae (Arnhold) Stubbe.

He was a GIA graduate jeweler and designer for over 38 years. He owned and operated Charles Paul Gem Designs, Allentown, with his wife and staff.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Christopher Jon; a daughter, Jamie Mae and her companion Don Barnes and his daughter Riley Barnes; sister, Dianne and her husband Joseph Orlando; two nieces, Jennifer and Jessica and her husband Adam Thompson; father and mother-in-law, Francis and Eleanor Knoble; sister-in-law, Linda and her husband Michael Stephan; nieces, Madison and Taylor, Patricia Schadt; nephews, Jon, Nate and Austin, and Sandra Tapler; niece, Tatum; an aunt, Joan Miller; cousins: Sue and her husband Chris Grumblatt, daughter Olivia, son Luke; Jennifer, wife of Al Nocentino, sons Michael and Jesse.

He was predeceased by Matthew Miller.

There will be a memorial Mass noon Sept. 22 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. The family will receive relatives and friends following the Mass in the Family Center of St. Thomas More.
