The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company Country Garden will hold an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.

The dinner will include soup, salad bar, rolls, side dishes, entrees and desserts. All proceeds benefit the fire company.

September will be a busy month for the Lehigh Township Historical Society. Mark your calendar for the following dates:

Sept. 9 and 23 – The Lehigh Township Historical Centre will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m.

Sept. 10 – The monthly meeting of the society will be held at 7 p.m. at the historical centre. The public is invited.

Sept. 15 – St. Paul's Schoolhouse, Almond Road, will be open for visitors from noon to 4 p.m.

Sept. 22 – An annual mum sale takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or until sold out. Various types and colors will be available.

Sept. 23 – Mum sale continues 1-4 p.m. if not already sold out.

In conjunction with the mum sale, the ladies of St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Indianland will conduct a bake sale.

Crafters are needed for Through These Hands Fabulous Fall Fest scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 27 at Bethany Wesleyan Church.
