Elaine I. Glose, 75, from Cetronia, South Whitehall Township, died on Aug. 20, 2012.

She and her husband William M. Glose III were married 54 years.

She was a corporate officer of the former First National Bank of Allentown for 25 years, and owner and CEO of Personnel Systems Inc. for 13 years.

She enjoyed her remaining career with Attorney Joseph J. Plunkett until her retirement in 2002.

She was the daughter of the late Warren and Meri Saul.

A graduate of Allen High School, class of 1955, she also took courses at LCCC and Lehigh University.

She was a member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ.

She enjoyed her home, beloved pets, traveling and the many close friends who continued to gather together over the past 50-plus years for picnics, parties, dances, cruises and who were always there for each other.

She and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party, which included all their friends and relatives, in July 2008 at the Scottish Rite Center.

She won several battles against cancer over the years but ultimately lost the war.

She was a strong and courageous person who will long be remembered by all with whom she came in contact.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William M. IV and wife, Karen; grandsons Adam and wife, Kristen, Matthew and Justin, all of Bethlehem; sister Judith Griffith Berges and husband, George; niece, Joy Griffith Chipley, and her husband Daryle; great-niece and great-nephew, Myana and Tynan, all of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Her services took place Aug. 23, in Stephens Funeral Home Inc., Allentown. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
