Clara S. Snyder, 88, of Allentown, died Aug. 29, 2012, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She and her husband, John W. Snyder, were married 50 years in June.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Calvin F. and Sallie (Moyer) Moyer.

A seamstress in the Lehigh Valley for many years, she was a member of VFW Post 5954 Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hill.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Ray Moyer and wife, Judy, of Fogelsville; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
