Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville, will resume its original worship service hours starting Sept. 9.

The traditional service begins at 8 a.m., followed by Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and the contemporary service at 10:45 a.m.

A Pork-N-Pie event is set for Saturday, Oct. 20. The meal includes pulled pork, roll, baked potato, choice of pickled cabbage or applesauce and a dessert. Eat-in orders will include a drink.

Dinners must be ordered by Oct. 5. Call the church at 610-262-9517 for information or to order.

St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Seemsville, will hold a bingo for Vera Bradley purses and accessories 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the church, 8142 Valley View Road.
