Bethlehem Veg Fest will take place 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 8 at 316 S. New Street, along the South Side greenway.

There will be vegetarian natural food providers, national speakers, chefs, educational exhibitors and kids activities.

There will be free admission, food sampling, speaker presentations, parking and a LANta bus stop across the street.

Christopher Lenhart of Bethlehem is taking part in the "Veganize Me!" challenge in conjunction with Veg Fest.

He will be weighed, measured and tested by Dr. Kristen Bentson of YouAnew Lifestyle Nutrition. She also provided a four-week diet plan for his use.
