Police make arrests for prostitution

Eleven people were arrested Aug. 22 and 23 for alleged involvement in a coordinated prostitution ring.

Members of the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, the Allentown Police Department and the Lehigh County Drug Task Force focused their efforts on the Hanover Township area of Lehigh County. Prostitutes were also arrested in the City of Allentown and elsewhere in Lehigh County.

Troopers located individuals advertising sexual acts on the Internet and established communications with the individuals on the telephone. The troopers were offered sexual services in exchange for money, police said.

In some instances, those charged agreed to meet with the troopers at a location of the trooper's choosing and, on some occasions, those charged invited the troopers to come to their location.

According to a news release, police say the following individuals face charges of prostitution and related offenses, graded as a misdemeanor of the third degree:

· Kimberly Lynn Makinster, 25, of Newfield, N.Y.

· Mia Antoinette Martin, 21, of Allentown.

· Nicole Ashley DiNardo, 18, of Scranton.

· Geneva Nicole Davis, 35, of Allentown.

· Endia Ann Travae Sharpe, 22, of Allentown.

· Tricia Renee Stout, 22, of Philadelphia.

· Cindy Hernandez, 32, of New York, N.Y.

· Lakena Nicole Gamble, 35, of Syracuse, N.Y.

· Gensenia Elizabeth Rivera, 32, of Whitehall.

· Jennifer Lynn Henderson, 30, of Philadelphia.

Additionally, Corderro Asa Cody, 25, of Allentown was charged with prostitution and related offenses graded as a felony of the third degree for promoting prostitution, police said.

He was committed to Lehigh County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail, police said.
