Mickley is a 2011 graduate of Whitehall High School who is currently a sophomore psychology major at Bloomsburg University. The 19 year-old daughter of Sue and Lou Mickley of Whitehall received the Leadership Award for the Class of 2011, a merit scholarship from Bloomsburg University and a scholarship to attend the Washington, D.C., 2010 Media Conference. She is a member of the College IHSA Equestrian Team and was the IHSA Novice Regional Champion for Equestrian 2012. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys training horses, taking care of her rescued mini-horse, raising chickens, guinea hens and turkeys, showing horses and helping restore her family's historical farm. After graduation, Jennifer hopes to become a high school guidance counselor and develop a nonprofit organization that helps children with visual problems. She was chosen over four other candidates based on a stage introduction and a speech on the topic of why you should visit the Allentown Fair.
