LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE
Whiffen receives degree
Maura E. Whiffen of Catasauqua received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Lebanon Valley College during the college's commencement ceremonies held May 12 on the college campus in Annville.
Among more than 430 to receive degrees from Lebanon Valley College, she is a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

Meghan E. Shafer of Bath and Alexis J. Russo of Catasauqua are enrolled at Lebanon Valley College.
Shafer is a freshman biology major and graduate of Northampton Area High School.
Russo is a freshman open major and a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

Ambrosino and Deutsch receives degrees
Ginelle MaryRose Ambrosino graduated from Moravian College May 12 magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She also minored in German and History.
Ginelle is the daughter of William A. and Krista Ambrosino of Northampton.
Ginelle also earned dean's list standing and was inducted into Psi Chi, where she served as secretary. She was also inducted into Alpha Psi Omega, Phi Sigma Iota and Phi Alpha.
Ginelle is a Comenius Scholarship recipient.
In addition to her academic achievements, Ginelle was actively involved in the Moravian College Theatre Company and served as president of German Club.
She also studied at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland during her junior year.
She is a 2008 graduate of Northampton Area High School.
Her future plans are to continue her education and pursue a masters of arts degree in forensic psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
Jared Paul Deutsch also received a bachelor of science degree with a major in biology.
Deutsch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Deutsch.
He is a graduate of Whitehall High School.

Whitehall resident
attains dean's list
Suzanne Moyer attained dean's list for the spring semester.
She is the daughter of Jason and Donna Moyer of Whitehall.
Students must achieve a QPA of 3.50 or highter and carry three or more courses during the fall or spring semester to achieve dean's list honors.
ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE
Area student named to dean's list
Richard Meyers, of Bath, was recently named to the Elizabethtown College spring 2012 dean's list. He is a sophomore at the college.
Students must earn a semester GPA of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.
