Thomas Donald Higgins, of Macungie, formerly of Broomall, where he resided for over 50 years, died peacefully August 21, 2012, at Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of the late Joan A. (Lynch) Higgins. He was a son of the late John J. and Delores V. (Coyle) Higgins.

He attended Sacred Heart Elementary in Manoa and graduated from Haverford High School in 1953 and St. Joseph's College in 1957.

He founded T.J. Associates Inc. with his late wife and son, John in 1990.

Some of his hobbies included golfing, hunting and coaching the Marple Jr. Tigers football team for over 25 years, but his greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Debra and her husband John Gober of Allentown; son, John and his wife Colleen of Broomall; four grandchildren, Kelly and her husband Samuel Hudson and Lauren Gober, Samantha and Thomas; brother Al; sister, Jane Puttbach; sisters-in-law, Dottie and Barbara; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Donald J; brothers, Jack, Joseph and Eugene; sisters, Delores O'Kane, Annamarie Handline, Peggy Hough.
