Gertrude C. "Trudy" Noon, 89, of Sacred Heart Senior Living, Center Valley, formerly of Macungie, died August 24, 2012. She was the wife of the late William J. Noon who died in 2002. They were married for 53 years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charlotte and William Conner.

She worked as a secretary for National Cash Register in New York City until she got married.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Colesville.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane and her husband Norman "Chip" Harpster of Bethlehem; sons, William of Carlisle, Thomas and his wife Maria of Royersford, daughter-in-law, Denise of Baldwin, Md.; grandchildren, Kelly, Bill, Jenny, Sarah, Ryan, Emily, Amy and Lauren; niece, Nanci Hirtreiter of West Palm Beach, Fla. and nephew, Richard Hirtreiter of Brooksville, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband; brother, William Conner and a sister, Irene Hirtreiter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Assumption BVM Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. Visitation will be held in the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
