St. John the Baptist Church in Stiles will hold its annual church picnic Sunday, Sept. 2, from noon-9 p.m. on the church grounds, located at Ruch and Chestnut streets.

This is always a fun summer celebration allowing participants the opportunity to interact with friends and acquaintances from the community.

Indulge in delicious food fare and play some games. There will be live musical entertainment provided as well. Bring your lawn chairs to ensure a comfortable seat.

The summer has flown by as it usually does. Hopefully, all students in our community are enjoying what remains of their summer vacation.

Best of luck to all of those students as they return to school and especially to those students heading off to college.
