Hilda E. Greenawald, 91, died Aug. 15, 2012, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the widow of William J. "Doxie" Greenawald.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Edna (Werley) Bittner.

She was a production worker for Alpo from 1959-82.

Prior to that, she worked at the former Westrick Potato Grading Station.

She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli.

Her survivors include a daughter, Sandra, wife of Roy Follweiler of Kempton; son Richard and his wife, Sandra, of Orefield; sister Irene Huber of Allentown; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Norman, Arlan and Woodrow; and sister Hattie Lewis.
