Donald F. Miller, 78, died July 31, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara (Sobjak) Miller. Born in Coopersburg, he was a son of the late Clarence and Elinor (Knappenberger) Miller.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.

He worked as a carpenter under the Local Union 1595 of Montgomery County.

He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.

He was a former member of both Milford Township and Trumbauersville Lion Clubs, Yellow Rockers Square Dance Club, and Emmaus Senior League Golf Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Denise and her husband Glenn Shaw, Dean and his wife Judy and Diane and her husband Jay Rathjens, all of Quakertown, and Darlene and her husband Steve Bauder of Center Valley; 10 grandchildren; and two siblings: Larry and his wife Ethel Miller of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Sandra Adams of Alburtis.
