A group from Faith Lutheran Church remembers a former pastor during an Aug. 12 ceremony at the church in Whitehall during which 13 young congregational members were honored as recipients of the Rev. Robert L. George SCholarship. George, who was the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church from 1984 to 1993, died in december 1993. At the Sunday morning church service, scholarship committee member Sheldon Egret read and presented checks and recipients briefly spoke about their college plans.
