Car windshield damaged

A resident of Whitehall reported to borough police on Aug. 9 the windshield of her 2001 Buick Century was damaged.

She told police Andre Ehly-Young, no address given, had her cell phone and when she asked that he return the cell phone to her, he threw it against the car's windshield, causing it to crack, police said.

Ehly-Young was cited with criminal mischief, police said.

Damage to the windshield was estimated at $264.

GPS unit stolen

Coplay Police on Sunday received a report from an Easton resident who said a Garmin Nuvi GPS unit was stolen from his vehicle while parked to the rear of 44 S. Second St.

The vehicle owner said the theft took place after he parked his vehicle at 7:20 a.m. and before he returned at 4 p.m. The GPS was valued at $100.

Vehicle window smashed

A resident of the unit block of Magna Drive informed borough police on Aug. 9 the rear window of his 1997 Ford Explorer had been smashed.

The resident said he also found the passenger side mirror glass missing, and later found it on the driver's side floor.
