The borough of Bath will celebrate its 275th anniversary this coming week.

Below is a list of the events planned for the anniversary celebration.

Saturday, Aug. 11 – Anniversary Gala Dinner Dance at the Bath Social Hall, 7-11 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 12 – Anniversary Choir concert, 2 p.m., St. John's church; Ecumenical church service, 6 p.m., Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Monday, Aug. 13 – Presentation of plaque to borough, 3 p.m. – Ciff Cowling Pavilion; dedication of the Monocacy Creek Park at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 14 – Kids Night, 5-9 p.m. at Ciff Cowling Park. Balloon sculptures, face painting, crafts and food. Bobby Siegfried's band will perform 7-9 p.m. Patrons are asked to bring lawn chairs.

Wednesday, Aug. 15 – Make-your-own-sundae night, Christ United Church of Christ, 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 16 – The Riffters live band at Ciff Cowling Park from 7 to 9 p.m. Patrons are asked to bring lawn chairs.

Friday, Aug. 17 – Anniversary store souvenir and memorabilia sale from noon to 6 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 18 – the parade will begin at 1 p.m. Service Electric will provide television coverage. The route begins at the top, north end, of Broad Street and proceeds west on Northampton Street to the day care center and then east on West Main, continuing on East Main and ending at Wunderler's. The fireworks display will be lit from behind the Keystone Rod and Gun Club at 9:30 p.m.
