Margaret Sherman Nester, 83, of Emmaus, died Aug. 4, 2012. She was the wife of the late Joseph Sherman and the late Linwood Nester. She was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Cahill) Jones.

She worked as a cafeteria supervisor at Lehigh Valley Hospital until retiring.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by sons, Joseph and his wife Rebecca, John, Scott and his wife Charlene, Alan and his wife Ceil; five grandchildren, Christine, Caitlin and Ellen Sherman, William Bryfogle Jr. and Lynda Erbrick; stepdaughters, JoAnn McIlvain and Loretta Schneider; stepsons, Lee and Linwood Jr.; great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by stepdaughters, Dolores Hallman and Elaine O'Brien; brother, Walter; sister, Mary.
