Joseph A. Alban III, 64, of Whitehall, died Dec. 16, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Susan (Schlogl) Alban for 20 years.

Born in Rutland, Vt., he was a son of Joseph and the late Frances I. Alban.

He was a construction manager for 40 years.

He was an assistant chief and training officer for Whitehall Township Fire Department.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three children, Nicole Alban and her husband Craig Tully, Tiffany Saylor and Jason Saylor and his wife Kara; three granddaughters, Peyton Szoke, Sophie Recker and Coraline Saylor; two brothers, David and Ralph; and two sisters, Anette Velekei and her husband John and Diane Alban Knotek.
