Edna E. Bailey, 94, of Hamburg, formerly of Kempton, died Feb. 1, 2014, in the Laurel Living Center, Hamburg.

Her husband Hoyt F. Bailey died in 1990.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Iva M. (Snyder) Gruber.

She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, and the Kempton Rod and Gun Club.

Her survivors include a daughter Lenore E., wife of Ralph E. Shollenberger, of Hamburg; brothers, George S. and wife Elsie of Orefield and Ralph P. of Fogelsville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and longtime companion, Charles A. Flammer of Hamburg.

She was predeceased by her son Richard H. in 2008 and by siblings Elmer, Howard, Mary Boger and Eva Herber.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 6, in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway (Route 143), New Tripoli. Calling hour begins 10 a.m.

The Rev. Raymond J. Hand will officiate. Interment in Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
