Northwestern’s Justin Rodda caught five passes for 138 yards and a touchdown against Palmerton last Friday. He also had a 40-yard run for a TD during the 57-28 victory, and now has 23 career receiving touchdowns, tied with Cam Richardson (2012-14) for the most in school history. Rodda’s effort earned him the TN Football Player of the Week. The senior talks about the performance and earning the distinction a week after teammate Justin Holmes secured POW honors.

Northern Lehigh picked up its first win of the season Saturday, surging past Wilson 37-20. The Bulldogs (1-2) staged a second half comeback to storm to their first Colonial League victory of the season, outscoring the Warriors 30-6 over the final two quarters. Joe Abidelli, who had a rushing touchdown and successfully ran in a pair of two-point conversion attempts, and Matt Frame (12 carries 108 yards and two TDs) talk about the win.

Justin Holmes accounted for five touchdowns in Northwestern's 42-16 win against Wilson last Friday. The junior ran for 124 yards and three scores, and also threw for 153 yards and a pair of TD passes to earn TN Football Player of the Week honors. Holmes, who had a breakout season a year ago at wide receiver, talks about his performance and the evolution of the Tigers' offense.

Palmerton sophomore quarterback Cole Serfass ran 24 times for 227 yards and four touchdowns last Friday during a 56-14 victory over Catasauqua. Serfass, who also threw a TD pass, was named the Times News Football Player of the Week. Serfass talks about the performance.
