Gertrude Cora Moyer, 89, of Macungie, died Aug. 16, 2019, in Franklin, Tenn. She was the wife of the late Clare Moyer for 61 years, until his death in 2016. Born in 1930, she was the youngest of 14 children.

She was a homemaker who spent her life caring for her family and those around her. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing bingo and spending time with her friends and relatives.

She is survived by a daughter, Jan (Jim) Runnels, of Franklin, Tenn.; sister, Helen Schmick, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Jameson (Leonela) Runnels and Jacey Runnels.

Memorial gifts may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie, 11 a.m. Aug. 31.
