Police arrested a man after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend around 9:50 a.m. March 7.

According to police, 25-year-old David Venable was at his home in the 600 block of Christian Street and, while arguing with the victim, choked her.

Venable is charged with reckless endangerment, harassment, simple assault and strangulation.
