Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, will host the 24th annual fall basket social Oct. 12.

The walk-in social will start 4 p.m., and the drawing will begin 7:30 p.m. Winners will be notified via phone that same evening.

Delicious homemade foods, baked goods and other refreshments will also be available.

Proceeds will benefit the Hope Lutheran Church maintenance fund.

Be sure to visit the Lehigh Township Rails to Trails (LTRT) display at the Walnutport Canal Festival noon-5 p.m. Oct. 21. The parking area, courtesy of LTRT, will be on Canal Street, near Main Street.

You can meet some of the LTRT members, learn about the organization and pick up trail maps.

To raise funds for the Indian Trail Park project, LTRT will be selling raffle tickets for Dine Around Lehigh Township. Prizes are gift cards to area restaurants.
