Frank P. Kroboth

Frank P. Kroboth, 90, of Lower Macungie Township, died peacefully Aug. 3, 2018, surrounded by family. He was the husband of the late Rose Marie (McGinley) Kroboth. They were married for 62 years until her death in June 2012. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Karl and Angela (Klusarits) Kroboth.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield, where he and his late wife were affiliated with many activities of the parish.

He was a 1946 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy after serving a 20 year career during the Korean and Vietnam wars. In addition, he served in the Pennsylvania State Probation and Parole Board for more than 20 years.

A seasoned traveler, he and his wife ran group trips all over the world.

He is survived by daughters, Rosemary McGuinness, of Bethlehem Township and Francine M. and her husband Sam Miranda, of North Whitehall; son, Barry and his wife Christy (Wheeler), of Woodbridge, Va.; grandchildren, Matthew McGuinness and his wife Kristin, Christopher and his wife Brittany, Andrew Miranda and his wife Amanda and Patrick and his wife Caitlyn; great-grandchildren, Reese Kroboth, Cooper Kroboth; Aiden McGuinness, Betsy Kroboth and Claire Christina Miranda; nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by son-in-law, George McGuinness in 2007; brothers Karl and Joseph.

Contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, 850 S. Fifth St., Allentown, 18102 to be directed to the Rose Marie Kroboth, R.N. Nursing Scholarship fund.

Arrangements were made by the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
