Upper Macungie Twp Police

Upper Macungie Township police say officers responded around 9:35 a.m. Feb. 17 for a report of a retail theft at Burlington, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.

Police say it was reported at approximately 1:54 p.m. Feb. 14 three suspects entered the store and allegedly selected various shoes and merchandise.

They then placed the shoes inside of suitcases before leaving the store without paying for the items.

According to police, the suspects were described as two young black males in their teens or 20s and one older black female possibly in her 40s.

The total lose was approximately $1,524, police say.

Police say officers were dispatched around 12:05 p.m. Feb. 13 for an alleged assault at 7346 Penn Drive, Upper Macungie.

Police say upon arrival officers discovered a 44-year-old male resident from the zero hundred block of Balsam St., Upper Macungie, was the supervisor of the accused, a 31-year-old male resident from the 200 block of N. Jefferson St., Allentown.

According to police, the Allentown man had been pulled into an office to discuss with him leaving a work area without notifying anyone.

Police say this led to a verbal argument which then became physical.

Police allege the Allentown man pushed and then punched the Upper Macungie man, leaving a small bruise on his left cheek.
