“A Christmas Carol”:Gerald Charles Dickens, above, presents a performance of his great-great grandfather’s classic holiday tale, “A Christmas Carol,” 1, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11, Foy Hall, Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus, Moravian College, Main and Church streets, Bethlehem. During his one-man show, Dickens brings to life more than 25 characters, from Ebenezer Scrooge to Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas. “The Santaland Diaries”:An alternative holiday celebration, “The Santaland Diaries,” Dec. 9 - 18, Civic514, Allentown, is an outrageously funny one-person show featuring Jarrod Yuskaukas, above. The show is based on an essay by popular humorist David Sedaris and adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello. Sedaris recounted his experiences as an unemployed writer when he took a job as an Elf in “Santaland” at Macy’s, Herald Square, New York City.
